Instrument Workshops for Beginners & Children
Music is a gift meant to be shared, and there's no better place to start than in one of our beginner—friendly instrument workshops. Designed for children and first—time players, these workshops introduce the magic of bluegrass instruments — from banjos and fiddles to guitars, mandolins, and basses — in a fun, hands—on environment.
Led by experienced musicians who love teaching as much as performing, our workshops focus on building confidence, developing basic skills, and sparking a lifelong love of music. Each session encourages creativity, collaboration, and a sense of accomplishment as students learn to play their first tunes and join in group jam circles.
Whether a child is picking up an instrument for the very first time or a beginner is eager to explore bluegrass traditions, our workshops provide the tools, guidance, and encouragement to help every student grow. By connecting young musicians to the rhythms and stories of the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains, we're not just teaching music — we're nurturing the next generation of bluegrass enthusiasts.
